Masking Tape

Masking tape, also known as painter’s tape, is a type of pressure-sensitive tape made of a thin and easy to-tear paper (crepe paper). Masking tape was developed specifically to help protect surrounding surfaces from overspray, provide clean paint lines, and remove easily and cleanly when finished. 

• It is used mainly in painting, to mask off areas that should not be painted.

• Removes cleanly in one piece with no adhesive residue, minimizing unwanted tearing
• Holds securely through multiple or extended process cycles
• Resists paint bleed-through to help create sharp paint lines
• Crepe paper backing tears easily and resists slivering

• Protects surfaces from paints and other materials; and leaves no adhesive residue on the surafces
